Our Vision

We are working towards a future where:

· No carer feels suicidal or alone.
· Every carer is recognised for the £162 billion they save the UK each year.
· Carer wellbeing is non-negotiable, leading to better care for everyone.

Our vision is a society that finally cares for the carer.

Our Mission

At CarersMind UK, our mission is to be the lifeline for carers’ mental health. We directly combat the isolation and overwhelming pressure carers face every day by providing:

–  Safe-Haven Peer Support: A community where carers are truly understood, because it’s run by those who have been there.
– Practical Mental Health Workshops:  Tools and strategies to build resilience and manage the unique stress of caring.
– Crisis & Emotional Support:  Immediate help for when the burden becomes too heavy, including a helpline and referral services.
– Relentless Advocacy: We fight for a system that sees, values, and properly supports carers.

We turn silence into support and isolation into community.

Join Us for Our Free Carer Wellbeing Conference

We’re bringing together experts, advocates, and carers for two afternoons of connection, learning, and practical support.

An Inspiring Start to the CarersMind Journey 17th jan 2026

Our first CarersMind wellbeing event was a powerful reminder of what happens when carers come together. From shared experiences to expert mental health insights, the room was filled with connection, learning, and hope. Carers left feeling seen, supported, and better equipped — and this is only the beginning.  Our project was made possible thanks to #nationallottery

John, Age 55
Isolated carer

Volunteering with CarersMind has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. As someone who wanted to give back in my community.

Melly, Age 36
Volunteer and A carer

A memorable moment for me was helping run a monthly “carer check-in” group. Just being there to listen, to share resources, or simply to say ‘you are not alone.

Ammi, Age 53
volunteer

Working in partnership with CarersMind has been a true privilege. As a local healthcare provider, we have referred many clients to their services — and the impact has been consistently positive.

Your Lifeline in the caring Journey

From immediate crisis support to a community that understands, we provide the mental health lifelines that carers deserve.

We support

We offer real, practical help for when it matters most. Our services include a carer helpline, peer support networks, and mental health workshops run by people who truly understand your journey. You are not alone.

We fight

We raise our voices to stand up for carers' rights. We push for a mental health and social care system that truly sees, values, and properly supports the people who hold our communities together.

Frequently Asked Questions

We provide support to all carers across the UK—whether you’re a family member, friend, or informal carer looking after someone with illness, disability, or age-related needs. We also welcome professional care workers and immigrant carers seeking peer connection and mental health resources.

CarersMind UK offers a range of support services, including:

  • Peer support groups for emotional connection and sharing strategies

  • Self-care tips and mental health coping tools

  • Expert workshops led by therapists and professionals

  • MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) training

  • Awareness campaigns, and access to crisis support and community advocacy efforts

We offer both online and in-person events throughout the UK, making support accessible regardless of where you are. You can also stay connected via WhatsApp or email for ongoing check-ins, and we collaborate with local providers to make our services more reachable and responsive.

We envision a future where every carer is recognized, supported, and empowered to maintain positive mental health. Our goal is to build a society where carers are no longer isolated in their role, but instead have trusted access to care, resources, and community.
