Behind every person receiving care, there is someone giving it — often quietly, tirelessly, and without recognition.
Why This Walk Matters
Carers, both paid and unpaid, play a vital role in our communities. From supporting loved ones to working within care services, carers give their time, energy, and emotional strength every day.
However, many carers experience:
- Stress and burnout
- Anxiety and emotional exhaustion
- Isolation and lack of support
Despite this, carers’ mental health is often overlooked.
At CarersMind UK, we believe carers need care too.
Supporting Carers’ Mental Health in the UK
Our mission is to support the mental health and wellbeing of carers through:
- Community events and awareness initiatives
- Safe spaces to connect and share experiences
- Access to mental health education and support
This walk is more than just an event — it is a movement to recognise, support, and uplift carers across London and the UK.
This Event Is For Everyone
You don’t have to be a carer to take part.
Join us if you:
- Are a carer (paid or unpaid)
- Support someone who is a carer
- Care about mental health
- Want to make a positive difference
Together, we can raise awareness and show carers they are not alone.
