Governance
Our Structure & Oversight
At CarersMind UK, strong governance is the foundation of everything we do. We believe that transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership are essential to maintain trust with carers, volunteers, partners, and supporters.
Board & Directors:
Our organisation is guided by a Board of Directors comprised of carers, legal professionals, and subject-matter experts. They set our strategic direction, ensure legal compliance, approve budgets, and monitor our progress toward our mission.
Volunteer Leadership:
Our key leadership roles are voluntary, bringing authentic lived experience and dedication. Among them are our Founder & Director, Chairperson, and Secretary—all of whom are carers themselves and deeply connected to the community we serve.
Looking Ahead
We aim to formalise our governance framework with written governing documents if not already in place.
We plan to seek accreditation or external certifications to strengthen credibility and transparency.
We will publish annual impact reports and financial statements so that our work, choices, and impact remain visible and verifiable.
