Our People
At CarersMind UK,
Our team is made up of dedicated volunteers and professionals who live and breathe our mission: to support carers’ mental health, amplify their voices, and build a community where no carer walks alone. Every person here brings a unique background, passion, and experience that helps us serve carers with empathy, integrity, and strength.

What Drives Us
Lived Experience: Many of our leaders are carers themselves. We know firsthand the challenges, the joys, the pressures — we don’t just talk about carers’ mental health; we live it and carry it forward in our work.
Expertise & Passion: Beyond lived experience, the team includes people trained in mental health first aid, advocacy, legal work, and community development. We bring together both heart and knowledge.
Voluntary Spirit: All roles are voluntary, anchoring us in authenticity and humility. We believe service is a calling not just a job.
Inclusive Leadership: Our board and volunteers represent carers from diverse backgrounds — family carers, informal carers, immigrant carers, varying ages and experiences. Inclusion means our support reflects many stories.
