What We Do?

How We Help?

CarersMind UK exists to improve the mental health and wellbeing of unpaid carers through safe spaces, emotional support, and access to practical resources.

Extraordinary Experiences

  • We offer peer support: group meet-ups, one-to-one check-ins, safe forums where carers can share experiences without judgment.

  • We provide information & signposting: help understanding mental health, knowing your rights, access to services & knowing where to get help.

  • We organise awareness campaigns & advocacy: letting the voices of carers be heard by policy makers, healthcare bodies, and in public awareness.

  • Crisis support & encouragement to seek help early to avoid burnout.

Our Core Values

  • Because carers often put everyone else first — but their mental health matters too. Supporting CarersMind helps ensure carers are heard, valued & sustained.

  • High impact, low cost — with your donation, we can provide more peer support groups, run mental health workshops, launch awareness initiatives & offer more life-changing resources.

  • Tangible change — through advocacy & community engagement, we push for better mental health policies & more support for carers at local & national levels.

Workshops and Training for Resilience

At CarersMind UK, we believe knowledge is power. That’s why we host workshops and training sessions designed specifically for carers’ needs. These workshops cover topics such as stress management, self-care, coping with anxiety, and recognizing early signs of burnout. We also provide Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training, equipping carers with the skills to identify, understand, and respond to mental health issues in themselves and others. Our sessions are interactive, practical, and led by experienced facilitators who understand the challenges carers face. These programs not only improve mental health literacy but also give carers tangible strategies to improve their day-to-day lives. By investing time in training, carers learn how to balance their caregiving responsibilities with personal wellbeing, ensuring sustainability in their caring role. Workshops empower carers to shift from simply surviving to truly thriving.
